The one thing we must surely all agree on is Nike killed the presentation section.

The one thing we must surely all agree on is Nike killed the presentation section.

Today brings our World Cup kit grading series to a close. Today brings us kits from Nike, Adidas, and Puma. And there's some fire and diversity in this group.

AK
The home kit is white with a bespoke sash graphic that graces the front of the shirt in a light grey tone. The graphic consists of taped lines that create an illusion of a gradient.
Grade: B-

LT
I like how the kit is split between a solid color and a patterned, darker shade. It works. Two very smart kits but there isn’t anything spectacular about them. Still, they’re good.
Grade: C+

Away

AK
The away kit is red and based on the same template. It features the same graphic as the home shirt. They both have a clean overall look but other than the subtle graphic nothing else is happening.
Grade: B-

LT
The away kit is slightly worse than the home, due to the badge on the home looking cleaaaaan. But still, they’re pretty much similar levels.
Grade: C+

Japan

The home kit is inspired by Samurai armor. It’s blue with a generic graphic print. The print covers the front with dark and light blue stripes, a collar, and the three adidas stripes on the shoulders.
Grade: B

LT
The home kit is one of my favorite releases this year. Such a beautiful design with the graphic print taking inspiration from a Samurai warrior. Japan is one of my favourite countries, and this kit just adds to the love for it.
Grade: A+

Away

AK
The away kit is predominantly light grey with a bit of a white trim around the top. The three adidas stripes on the shoulders are also white. It features a subtle 3 stripe graphic on the upper left side. The kit is clean and works out well. Simple but dope at the same time.
Grade: B+

LT
A great follow up after such a nice home kit. A solid design for the away kit and it is a great secondary option for Nippon.
Grade: B+

AK
The home kit is white with a green collar, a green stripe on the sleeves, and a subtle graphic print a lion on the front.
Grade: B-

LT
I love the chest design on these kits. It is beautiful and taps into the country’s history and heritage. A nice inclusion from Puma.. The home kit’s white design is fantastic and it works.
Grade: B

Away

AK
The away kit is the same as the home, but green Is the dominant color. They are good jerseys and are elevated by the graphic.
Grade: B-

LT
The away kit uses a nice green but the reverse of the home kit doesn’t work as well. However, it is still a very nice kit. I expect to see some spectacular dancing from the fans in these kits.
Grade: B-

Colombia

AK
The home kit is yellow with three eye catching stripes along the sides of the chest, which are essentially copied from the 1990s Adidas kit designs.
Grade: B+

LT
The home kit is excellent. A wonderful yellow design and the graphics on the sides make it even better. Basically copied from the 1990 design but I don’t care, it works. I like it. I love the nostalgia.
Grade: B+

Away

AK
The away kit is royal blue with a distinct graphic print on the left side of the which is modelled after the Mulera traditional scarf Colombia coffee growers often wear over the shoulder.
Grade: A

LT
The away kit is decent. However, that’s it. It doesn’t follow up with the greatness of the home kit. I am not really a fan of the colour combination but the overall thought process behind the design seems to be solid. An alright effort.
